Mozilla Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is a free E-Mail client which is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Mozilla Thunderbird can be downloaded from http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/

Step 1.

Open Thunderbird and click on Tools and then Account Settings. On Linux, you need to click on Edit and then Account Settings. The click on Account Actions and click on Add Mail Account.

Step 2.

On the next screen type in your name, Email Address and Password and click Continue.

Step 3.

If you are using Thunderbird 3.1 or newer, you should get the message saying "The following settings were found from: Email provider". If you do, then click on Create Account and you are finished setting up your account. If you do not get this message, continue with the steps below.
If you are using Thunderbird 3.0 or lower, or did not get the above message, you can click on the Stop button and then click on Manual Setup, or you can wait for Thunderbird to finish searching and then continue.

Step 4.

On this screen type in your name and email address and then click on Server Settings.

Step 5.

On this screen type pop.2000cn.com.au into the Server Name box and set the Port to 110. Type your email address into the User Name field. Then click on Outgoing Server (SMTP)

Step 6.

On this screen type filter.spamfreemail.com.au into the Server Name field and change the Port to 587. Tick the option "Use name and password" and type your email address into the User Name box and change the Connection Security option to STARTTLS. Click OK to close this dialog box and then click OK again to close the second window. Congratulations, you should now have a working Thunderbird Email Client.
